Editorial policy
Bold Design Journal aims to make design easier to understand without pretending that every question has one settled answer. We value accuracy, clear distinctions between fact and interpretation, and transparent handling of errors and commercial relationships.
Accuracy and context
We check names, terms and factual statements against suitable sources before publication, and we avoid presenting an interpretation as an established fact. Design judgments depend on purpose, audience and setting, so we explain the context behind comparisons and make uncertainty clear where it matters.
Independence
Editorial decisions are made for reader interest and clarity. A partnership or placement does not guarantee coverage, a favourable view or control over an article. If a commercial relationship affects material we publish, we identify that relationship plainly.
Corrections
If we find a material error, we correct it and make the change clear in the relevant article when appropriate. Readers can report a possible error through the Contact page; please include the article title and the detail that needs checking.
Partner material and illustrations
Paid or partner content is identified with a clear label near the material, and paid placements are distinguished from editorial recommendations. Some illustrations may be AI-generated; when that is the case, we label them so readers can tell an illustrative image from a documentary one.
